Wry comedy thriller about the investigations of an insurance clerk (Peter Vaughan) who aims to prove that the death of a businessman in an exploding car off the coast of Sussex was no accident.
Opening with the car stunt on Seaford Head, the action moves swiftly to Brighton with scenes outside Brighton Station, the Grand Hotel and the now destroyed West Pier. Michelham Priory and Hellingly Station also feature. Interestingly, the stations forthcoming closure pre-empted by dialogue given to the station master (Sam Kidd).
